EDIT: PROBABLY SCAM


I saw this posted in the Connecticut region and was wondering if anyone here was going to jump on it. From the few pictures it seems like a fantastic deal. Survivor 1968 442 with Canadian docs for just $7,777. With the odd price and with "DELUX" in the title, I get weary of scams though.

Usually when a deal is too good to be true, I try to see if it is. I did a reference image search on the ad and it comes up all over the place. It looks like this was originally posted on ebay.ca around April. From the results, you can see that lots of 3rd party sites have try to hijack it. I'm considering this a scam on my site and will make notes on oldsmobilecentral and remove the listing from search results.

That 442 was listed on Ebay last month and didn't sell. Listed here for considerably more. Funny the prices vary so much.

I remember this car when it lived in Calgary.
