Tell Frank that if he ever hopes to sell that car, he needs to go back to the drawing board as far as the photos go. Tell him to pull the car out of the garage and into the sunlight and take a decent set of photos of it from all sides, not just what you can see of it when it's stuffed into a garage and tree leaves and a trunk or hood or whatever are blocking the view of the back end. Tell him to clean out the trunk and let us see IT instead of the junk in the trunk. Potential buyers want to see the car, not the piles of crap and garage walls that are in the way of seeing the car.

Of what possible value is this photo when it comes to evaluating the car?

The first two photos are essentially identical. Why both?

Also, if Frank's phone number is in the ad, I don't see it.

This is an Ontario car which makes it a possible rust belt issue because of the heavy use of salt in the winter. Evidence of that is pretty much the front bumper chrome. Everything else that could show actual condition is not shown. The one picture of the interior (drivers side) shows the sill plate missing and the rocker is surprisingly good condition. Who knows? He needs to document the car better as Dan said if he wants people to look seriously.

Thanks, Allan.

The car could possibly be a nice project for someone, but it's never going to find a new home with an ad like that.

Better.

If he was asking $500, fine. But $2K is high enough that people are going to want to see the car before buying it.

He should throw more dirt and dust on it and then claim it as a barn find.

Actually it isn't. The only way anyone can even message him is to create a Kijiji account. What good is that? I see this ad was posted over a month ago. The lack of clear photos showing details of the car are probably the reason. It's a high ask for something unseen/unknown. We don't even know that this car even runs/drives.

The pic of the trunk looks like he ditched the 260 intake, heads, crank valve covers there. I get the impression work was started on the interior but stopped. The door cards and b pillar trim are in the trunk too
