Very nice. Interesting that it has a 4-speed, A/C, and non-power drum brakes. What intake manifold is on it?

It is an Edelbrock with Quadrajet.
It would be better with a 455, but I bought it because the numbers match and the A/C. Cool air keeps mamma happy in the summer here in Florida.

I personally prefer them with the 350 over a 455, especially with a 4-speed and A/C.

Yes the seats have been reupholstered. The car had a frame on restoration to as near to factory as possible. Pictures of the process are available.

great color - I'd like to have a louvre hood at some point as well. I thought they were a non-a/c issue part though (my 72 CS ragtop has a/c with the standard hood)

All of the '72 Cutlass Supremes, except a convertible with the W-29 option, had the non-louvered hood.

You may be thinking of the open vents at the back of hood, which after December 31, 1971, were only on the non-A/C equipped cars. I have not read anywhere as to why the A/C cars after that date received the non-vented hoods. I do not think it had anything to do with the installation of the 3-point seat belts and warning buzzard/light that were also started after that date.

Also not known is why Oldsmobile did make the louvers functional, at least on the 442 models, unless the 'bean counters' thought it would distract from W-25 purchasers, which was highly unlikely.
