1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
Original unmolested car,350 4bbl, dual exhaust, air. Protecto -Plate in glove box. T-3 headlights still in it, original spare in trunk. Have the air cleaner on a shelf. Ashtray has coins from 1971 in it and a 1971 road map in the glove box. Also included is a factory chassis manual, couple cans of R-12 to charge the system back up. All rubber belts and hoses were replaced about 12 years ago, even the fuel lines over the axle. Car is in N.E. Il. Asking sold. Now for the bad news. It would not start, so I pulled the starter and had it rebuilt, put it back on and still no start, starter does not turn over. I found a walnut behind the distributor, so I think a chipmunk might have chewed a wire. Have waged WAR with this little *&#@!*&^. Any questions, just ask. Thanks for looking. Tried to show pictures of the known rust spots. Back window corner is shown. Trunk lip has no rust. Very solid car, rides great and runs great, if I could get it started. I am NOT an electrican.

It would help "a lot" if the car ran. No disrespect intended and I understand everyone has different skills and abilities, but these are really relatively simple systems. A $10 voltmeter would help here.
To me the car looks decent and complete, and I think your not trying to deceive anyone but if I looked at the car and it doesn't run whatever the asking price was I would pay not more than half of it. The reason being it could have a bad motor, trans and rearend, if the engine runs and the car yard drives it's Infinely easier to sell.

Thank you Russ, you are a class act ! The car is already up and running. My master mechanic Joe jumped on it 1st. thing today. Going to get a bath next, then a road test. Car is everything you said it was and I couldn't be happier.
Thanks again~ John
