1969 Cutlass S $7500
For sale again. I found something else I want and this needs to go. These pictures are a little old now, but nothing has really changed. Thanks, Jon

I said this on your original post and I'll say it again. Looks like a lot of car for the money! I hope it works out for you. Feel free to post on my site, oldsmobilecentral.com and I can help get your ad out there.

Well it's a 1970 Cutlass S W-31, documented car, but not numbers matching as it now has a 455 under the hood, but it is a 1970 455, not sure on the engine specs, but if I keep the 455 it will be built to W-30 specs. The car is now Aegean Aqua, but was originally Aspen Green, Green interior, black stripes.

Well Jon and I finally met on June 4th for the exchange. I drove from CT to Hamburg, PA with my truck and a trailer. Fun fun ride and Jon was kind enough to drive 3 hours towards me and help make my trip 5 hours one way vs 8. I love the car and couldn't be happier. Jon is a stand up guy and a great family man. We met at the amazing Cabelas out in Hamburg and I must say I wish we coulda stayed longer and talked all day. I towed my new cutlass back and have been tinkering already. Lol. I will start a new post soon regarding the interior restoration but I may begin that in the winter and enjoy her all summer and into the fall. Now we gotta make sure Jon gets a new car! I'll post some pics soon. Thanks again Jon and I'm glad we met and I'm sure I'll see you again at the nationals.
Godspeed everyone

Sal,
The more you post, the more I think I under sold the car. Really glad you are happy and pleased with your purchase, the old girl truly is a sweetheart. After 18 years with this car there isn't much I don't know about it, although some I've forgot. Can't wait to see the next chapter in it's evolution. I guess it's time to change my signature as well as yours. It was really great meeting you as well, and I agree we probably could have stood there all day and talked.
Good luck,
Jon
