1968 442 (Four Speed Car)
1968 442, (real deal, not a clone).
$4000.00
I recently picked up this beauty thinking it would make a great parts car but I don't have the heart to cut it up, LOL. I know it doesn't look like much but it's actually a very solid car. The doors close with a solid sounding thud, the floors a solid, the cowl looks awesome. The trunk was cut out as were the quarters. I have a trunk pan that goes with the car.
The Good:
455ci Motor
Offenhouser intake
Muncie Four Speed
Bucket Seats
Sport Steering Wheel Sold
Tic Tock Tach
Very Nice padded Dash
Very Nice A-pillar Pads
Perfect 442 Hood
The Bad:
Non Original Motor
No Trunk Lid
No Bumpers
No grill or Headlight Surrounds
No Hood Hinges
Headers, not manifolds
Over the next two weeks I am going to go through everything I have on the shelf in order to make this car worthy of restoration. I have a lot of the trim pieces, trunk pan, bumper brackets etc. As I find these parts I will post pictures of them so the next buyer can have a better idea of what he's buying. I'll also post pictures of any areas that need welding. There are a couple of small areas in the rear wheel wells.
I have the roof rail trim and the stainless steel trim that goes along the top of the fenders and doors.
The car is located in Birmingham Alabama.
The car is sold with a Bill of Sale. Alabama does not issue titles to classic cars. But the car can be titled in other states using an Alabama Bill of Sale. I've done it.

The Steering wheel has been sold
The mags are 14s, and yes, I have all four. I have them advertised locally for $350.00 with the tires. I don't think shipping these with the tires mounted on them would be very economical and taking the tires off of the rims would also run a few dollars.

The interior is still in take. I've touched nothing in there.
Transmission and motor are still in the car.
Call me ASAP if you're interested in the car. My phone number is in the post.
Thanks
Tom
