Wow! You may not want to reveal the sale price but was there an asking price for those who didn't catch the ad in time?

We were asking $12,500 for the car. Ended up at $10,000. Really felt like the car was worth more than that but I was selling for my Uncle and he gave the go ahead.

Someone got a good deal, by the looks of the picture.

BUT, to harp on a theme that I push from time to time, a lot of people believe some cars are worth a lot more than reason would suggest that they are worth, because of sporadic auction results, as well as high Craigslist and eBay asking prices, which may not be close to the actual final sale prices.

I tend to value cars low, when asked, but I would have thought this one would bring over $15-20,000 (if it's as nice as it looks), so thank you for helping us to understand the real current market value of a nice car like this, and helping to keep our sense of the market accurate.

As the owner of a 1962 Dynamic 88 convertible, I can state with certainty that the purchaser got a steal!

It's nice to hear that happens once in awhile. I've sold things myself for below their value only to have the same return to me from time to time. I'm sure you were somewhat OK with the deal or you wouldn't have chose to sell it. Thanks for the response, I love that year Starfire.
