Hot Rod Harry 1978 Mid Engine 442
I did not know that this car was still around. You can own it!
1978 OLDS MID-ENGINE SHOW CAR - $35000 (CARSON CITY AREA)
1978 Olds
1978 Oldsmobile 442 Mid-Engine
$35000.00
What can you say but WOW!
Bill Porterfield modified this 78 Oldsmobile back in the day.
In 1978 this very Mid-Engine made it to Hot Rod Magazine's front cover.
I have some of the magazine's that will go with the car.
Olds Engine 403 with as you can see, a lot of bell and whistles,
Olds Tornado Transaxle,
Chevrolet Corvette Hubs and Brakes adapted to the Olds Axle Shafts,
Fuel System is a Super Cell with dual Electric Pumps. That clear tube is for ventilation,
A panel covers the engine and still allows room for luggage.
This Olds Mid-Engine has been restored back to what it looked like in Hot Rod Magazine.
The photos you see here is what the car looks like today. I am told the car today looks better
that what it did back then.
Online you can read more about this Mid-Engine at HotRodHarrys.com

I've ridden in that car! Harry had it and sold it to a friend of mine, then Harry bought it back. Cant remember if Harry or Bob took me for the ride though. Its bad ***! Last time I saw Harry he told me the guy that has it now stripped and repainted it.
