75 Delta 88 convertible - must sell

I really need to sell this car. All reasonable offers considered. Pay close attention to what goes with the car in the sale.

What's up with the attached file? Why don't you provide a link to a Craigslist ad?

Not being very computer literate, my wife and I took about and hr. last night trying to get this information in the correct place and the correct format. We thought attaching a Word document in the Attachment space was the right way. This is a flyer we have given to people looking at the car. We are not sure if we violated a forum rule by doing this but we are sorry if we did. I don’t know Craig or how to get on his list. I thought this forum would get the attention of people that would be truly interested in this nice convertible and weed out the tire kickers and gawkers. Again thanks to all who have helped and given me great advice on this car over the years. We as have many others have fallen victim to the economic conditions of the last 2yrs. and the few toy’s left must go.

Not at all. It was just interesting to see an attached word document.

IMHO, you will get more coverage with a Craigslist ad link. I'm not trying to be mean, but I won't open a document from the internet, even if it is posted on our website. You never know if people are hackers.

Check out Craigslist:

http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites

The cool thing is that you can advertise for free. Sometimes scammers try to e-mail you about the car but you can avoid this by requiring interested parties to respond via. e-mail with a specific title like "1975 Oldsmobile Delta 88 convertible." You can also avoid scammer phone calls by spelling out your phone number (ie. five five five, one two three, four five six seven).

Good luck selling the car.

Nice car. It just seems like a flood of similar vehicles have hit the market or are about to in recent weeks. Seems the economy is forcing people to sell. That may drive down prices.

Yeah, very surprised to see just how many cars on on the market right now...still waiting to see the right wagon come up, though!

Thanks for the comments and all the looks. At~ 60 I've gone through a couple of these bad economies but this time has been kind of rough. Just keep plugging away and looking at all these "PURDY" cars and let yourself remember all them goodtimes and rides.Gives you time to build that next one in your head while you're waiting for things to get better. By the way I still have the 88.

Glad to hear that there are still some buyers out there and that you found one of them.

Remember, you can always buy another Olds!
