1972 Cutlass Supreme Convertible with 442 package, now on ebay.
Looking to sell this '72 Cutlass. It was previously owned by a pretty well known person in the Olds. community & even though I don't have any real proof other than his word, it is a "real" '72 442. I don't have much time to enjoy it & honestly I'm the least attached to it compared to the cars I've restored myself.
For more info. & pix, search on ebay under 291477201600 or search under oldspackrat.
Short summary, about 30+/- years ago it had NOS quarters, fenders, & bumpers installed & was repainted along with a new top. Interior is pretty original & original 350 engine was replaced with a 455 from a '72 442.
It is a pretty nice looking & driving car that looks like it was painted 30ish years ago. Not a show car by any means, but very well optioned & very solid even if a bit worn here & there. I'm in Indianapolis & other than the old tires, I would not be afraid to drive it about anywhere.
Hoping to get around $20,000.00.
Call Scott if interested.

Isn't that a car I painted for A. J. about thirty years ago? If so It's a real 442 and all the options were on the car when he got it. he wanted to have me put a OAI hood on it and I talked him into keeping the original metal hood. Nice driver. ~BOB

Bob,
You are correct & you did a fine job on this car. One of the reasons I bought it was that the 442 stripes looked very nice & correct. I can tell you spent a lot of time on them.
