1961 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight 4 door Holiday Sedan - Houston,TX
1961 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight series Holiday Sedan
21,XXX miles
Single family car, garaged it’s whole life!
It starts easily, and runs well even after sitting for a couple weeks. Has a few minor dents/dings, and is missing one hubcap. Interior is in very good condition, seats have all the chrome buttons, and it has front and rear floor mats.
My great grandfather bought this car new and used it as his church car. My grandfather inherited it, and only drove it on special occasions, and the fourth of july parade. I inherited it several years ago and have driven it occasionally since.
Four door hardtop
394 High Compression “Sky rocket” Engine
Power front windows, steering, and brakes
Original manual and glass anti-freeze bottle
Automatic transmission
Recent repairs
Original Fuel pump rebuilt
Brake Master Cylinder replaced
Rear Passenger wheel brake cylinder replaced
$15,000 USD

Very nice car. Good luck with the sale.
I found this comment interesting.
I looked at your photos closely, and, yes, the rear door windows are not powered. I never knew that you could buy cars from that era (or any era) with power front windows but not power back windows. I always thought power windows meant power windows, on all four windows. Very interesting.

Yeah, It's the only vehicle I've seen with only the front windows powered, I always thought it was interesting that they didn't do them all. The window handle on the back doors is easy to reach from the front, so it's not a big deal.
