Angry mikes442.com

Ordered fuel lines for '66 3x2 on 1-9-19 from MIKES442. Got a reply with a confirmation #. Then nothing. No ship date, no email saying it's on back order. I have made several attempts to contact via phone and email. No response. I have opened a case with PayPal to get this credited. Now I have ordered through another vendor. I wish I would not have wasted 30 days waiting for parts.

Just trying to help out anyone else who does not want to be left in the dark. I would recommend finding another vendor besides Mikes442

That's a bummer.

At least you paid with PayPal and will be able to get your money back.

You're not the first person to have problems with Mike Siedlik. I don't think Luke ever got his parts either. The search function here is your friend......

Thank you for your purchase of the line kit. I usually ship within 24 hours of purchase. The kit is boxed and ready to ship today. Let me know if there's anything else you need for the tri carb setup.

Mike,

You probably should explain to people if you're taking stuff over or helping Mike Siedlik. You're one of the best guys I've ever dealt with when it comes to Oldsmobiles.

jnovy, if Mike Richards says he'll get you your parts, he will. You have nothing to worry about.

Mike

Thank you for the kind words and confidence in me. To answer your question if I'm taking over or helping Mike Siedlik, the answer is no. The help I give is to the guys needing parts for the 3X2 cars. I do not get any parts from Mike. I get my parts from a longtime vendor who I have developed a very good relationship with. I waited for a long time to start selling these parts as to give Mike the opportunity to get back to selling and providing parts and service to the hobby. I have tried numerous times to contact Mike, sent messages by mutual friends etc. to no avail. I haven't talked to Mike in probably 3 years or so. I have no idea what is going on with him & I just hope he is well. Again, thank you for the kind words.

Mike Richards

Thank you for clarifying that Mike Richards is not the same person as mikes442.com. To those who don't know you Mike that may have been a point of confusion. I too have had many positive experiences with Mike Richards both buying and selling. For those who have never purchased from him reviewing the buyer/seller feedback will show a lot of positive comments about business practices.

You or anybody else is welcome @ my crib anytime. Thanks for the kind words. I have a NOS 67 wheel opening molding if you're interested. I'll need to check the part # to see which one it is.

if this is Mike, you can save it. I have already ordered from another vendor and have shipping confirmation. They sent it out the next day. I have filed a claim with the BBB in your area as well as with paypal. There is no reason for you to be in business if you can not return a call or email.

Well after a month of no confirmation, no ship date, no return phone calls and no return email. I ordered from someone else. I do not need 2 sets of fuel lines. He can keep his and go out of business for all I care.

If this is Mikes442, there is no need to send them. I have ordered from another vendor and they shipped out the next day with a shipping confirmation. I have filed with BBB in your state and a claim with Paypal. There is no excuse to be a month into this and have nothing except a response when order was placed. It is no way to run a business. I called several times and sent emails. Now miraculously I post on this forum and you are now going to box and ship them. You have wasted too much time of mine. I will just continue to let people know not to waste their time or money with your company.

Maybe the Saudi prince with send me the $1,000,000.00 I was promised in that email from a while back. And something about posting on facebook and Bill Gates will give me $1,000.00. All the guy had to do was get off his *** and send an email, return a call or give me a ship date. Hell, even an email saying they were on back order would have been great. If a company decides to not respond in any way, what am I to believe?

Ordered from Mike Richards. Part came in just a few days. Still no response from Mikes442. If the snow goes away, I will be able to put some fuel through the carbs again. Thanks Mike Richards.

This is Mike Richards, not mikes442. I saw where your line kit you purchased from me was delivered. I hope you are satisfied with them and happy with the quick service.

Yep,too many and I see where there might be some confusion. I think the OP thought I was mikes442 when I responded that his parts were boxed ready to ship. I should have clarified that I'm a different Mike. LOL

I live 80 miles from Mike S. I always call his sign shop in Columbus, NE, Siedlik Signs, and can usually get him there. I have ordered from him several times. One time he was a little slow so I called again and he did send the parts. He is really a decent guy but I think he is a little overwhelmed. That being the case I don’t think he should sell parts he can’t deliver. I’ve had good luck with Mike Richards and he also helped a lot with advice.

Thanks for the kind words Frank. I always strive to deliver what I sell and in a timely fashion. I still do not know what the circumstances are with Mikes 442=Mike Siedlik. He's a great guy and I will always consider him a friend. I hope his health is good.

I have nothing bad to say about him. Glad to hear his health is better and I just try to fill a void he left when he stopped selling parts. I have some new things in the works for the tri carb community.
