Going Hydroboost on the 69 442

Okay so I have decided to go Hydroboost on my 69 442. The brakes just were not performing to my liking. The cam in the 468 olds just isn't creating enough vacuum for the brake booster. Can not even make the brakes lock up and the pedal is so soft, even after bleeding the entire system 3 times.

I got my hands on a hydroboost setup out of a 95 astro van, my question is does anyone know off hand what the fitting sizes are on the power steering pump and the gear box?

Thanks again guys!

First of all, if the pedal is soft, the booster is not your problem. A lack of boost will give you a rock hard pedal that won't move. Bleed the rest of the air out of the system before spending any money on new parts.

This^^^, soft pedal means you still have air in system. If you still have the old rubber lines that could be the problem. Just posted a thread with pictures of the old restricted hoses.
