Self adjusting brakes
#2
Kit no, however, you can get the self adjusting parts from another Oldsmobile or car that uses the same brake shoe number, and use those parts on your car. I believe that Self Adjusters started in 1963, so using that information, I found that all full sized 1963 & 1964 Oldsmobile & Pontiac use the same brake shoe for the front. The rear isn't as simple, since the choice as simple. I found that the 1964 Jetfire 1 & the 1963 & 1964 Dynamic, Starfire, and the Super 88 are your only other choices.
You will need all the steel parts, and you could probably be able to purchase new springs, if you have the old ones to match up to. The brake springs are relatively easy to match up, if the paint hasn't come off of the old ones, since brake springs are color coded.
I have had the best luck finding parts in the smaller salvage yards in North & South Dakota, since they didn't scrap many of the older cars when steel prices went up.
