Keep in mind that you pay a premium for the convenience of a one-stop-shopping kit. If lowest cost is your prime requirements, get a mini kit from places like Right Stuff. I paid about $125 for the mini kit with spindles, caliper brackets, and dust shields. The heavy parts (calipers, rotors, master cylinder) are available at any auto parts store to save shipping, or from RockAuto. Same with the normal wear items like hoses, wheel bearings, and seals. I would suggest using the brass combo valve that is available pretty much anywhere. Inline and others sell the frame brackets for holding the caliper hoses.
Actually, your best bet is to find used original spindles and start with those. The new ones are all Chinesium.

Joe, is 64 F-85 Spindles the same for 66? Most of you guys know of my 64 Pro-Touring build and have those spindles and other stuff tucked away.( going to get rid off it all soon) Joes66olds if they work for you, let me know all I would ask for is to pay for the ride from Dallas and if your a Christian put a check in your Sunday offering.....Robski
