71/ convert from manuel to power Drums
Want to convert from manuel to power Drum-brakes on a 71
Have a 11 in. booster laying around, and ask my self if I only have to bolt the booster behind the (drum) master cylinder or must I pay attention to any other details…remember to change the level hole on the pedal ???

Both the manuAl and power brakes use a one inch bore M/C in 1971, so yes, all it takes is to unbolt the M/C from the firewall, remove the pushrod and retainer (DO NOT throw these parts away!), and install the booster and vac hose to the engine. The brake lines should have enough "give" in them to accommodate the new M/C location, but if not you'll need to bend new lines.
