72 olds cutlass brakes
Hello its been awhile thinking of replacing whole brake system with a new system , wanted to see if any body has done this recently and suggestions of what kind thanks.

This has been covered to death. SEARCH is your friend. Also, it would be helpful if you defined "replacing whole brake system with a new system". Do you mean a disc brake conversion with stock parts or an aftermarket upgrade like Wilwood?

There were 2 braking options for most of the 72 Cutlass: J50 and J52. First one is power drum brakes, second is power disc brakes. If you have either and are only using the car for shows I'd say leave em be. If you have the J52 option you already have a good system so why bother spending money when you don't need to.
On the other hand if you're planning to change this to a track car, by all means upgrade to the biggest baddest brakes you can afford.
You will find that brake conversions are not cheap, so think about what your plans for the car are.
