69-70 Big Car Front Disc Brake Rotors on eBay
Just wanted to let others at CO know that there are some sets of new brake rotors on eBay for the 69-70 88' and 98' front disc brake spindles.
I use those spindles, rotors and calipers as a source for putting disc brakes on my 61 Dynamic 88. I believe the 69-70 units can be used on other models also, but I know they are a "bolt on" to the 61-62 88's, 98's and Starfires.
The rotors have always been the hard to find parts to complete this swap. Since the application was so limited, no one reproduced them. There is another thread on CO where some members had some ideas for modifying rotors that had similar dimensions to fit the hubs. I believe that is the type I bought on eBay.
They are a rotor that came with a 5 on 4 3/4" BC. The 5 on 5" BC has been added, and the center bore has been machined to fit the Olds hub.

I thought it was fair price. I didn't have to go to an auto parts store to buy the rotors or take them to a machine shop and explain what needed to be done. More than likely would of had to drop it off, and come back a week later...All I had to do was click "Buy-It-Now" and wait for the parts to be left at my garage door.

And if youdon't want to monkey around with WRONG ones:
I have 2 last N.O.S. Front ROTORS -- Original KELSEY- HAYES that are
1000 % correct ---
Not some "monkeyed around" metric rotor that with serious modifications
will work -- I suppose that is better than nothing ---but for 1 last lucky
winner who wants to be 1000 % correct -- and not have "some issue" not found with a "monkeyed around rotor",
you can call me -- Craig -- 516 - 485 - 1935.... New York....

These "Monkeyed around" rotors fit perfectly, they also have more cooling fins, that should help with better heat dissipation. I will take some photos of them to post on here soon.
The rotor that is used for this could be purchased as a "drilled and slotted" version, and then have the bolt circle holes added. That would look cool on your Olds Big Car.
