Front drum brakes
Need some help, I am trying to change out my front brakes and when I removed the front drum the hub stayed attached. How do I separate the two? It looks like there is a cone shaped piece that the bearings were in holding the two together. Any help would be appreciated.

You may have one-piece drums - there were two models, one with a separate hub, and one that was one piece.
Make sure that you follow the directions in the Chassis Service Manual when reassembling the bearings and hubs, after you've cleaned and re-packed them, there are a couple of variations, depending on year.

If you do have the two-piece drums, typically the knurl on the wheel studs is long enough to also press into the drum, holding the drum to the hub. You need to press the studs out, which will release the drum from the hub.

Thanks Guys, I did what Joe suggested, I placed the drum (which was rather rusty) on the garage floor, applied penetrating oil around the studs let it soak in for a while. Then put a board big enough to cover all the studs and gently tapped around it until the hub fell through.
