Brake Booster 69 442

I anticipate putting my 69 442 on the market before too long. One thing that has always bothered me was my ugly brake booster. I went through 3 boosters from in-line before I got one that worked on my 68 Vista. I had my mechanic put the 2 boosters that wouldn't work on the wagon on my 69 442. I have vacuum, but no brake.
So, I contacted the gentleman in CA who restores originals. (My booster worked fine, just looked bad.) He said at least 2 months turn around time. I hate to wait that long before putting it on the market. So I called Fusick's. Their's is from In-line.
You guys have bound to have bought repops from someone that actually worked.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

was the California rebuilder Steve Gregori? He had ones already restored and I believe as long as you had a good core would swap them out, could get it restored to original or chromed

Yes. I spoke with him this weekend. He did not mention swapping one out.
I may just go the Eastwood route.
Thanks

I used Power Brake Booster Exchange (aka Booster Dewey) in Oregon. (503) 238-8882 Was very satisfied. Good customer service. I don't think it took quite that long. He replated it with factory goldlike color.

Suggestions? Yeah. If you're going to sell the car, don't put any money into it just because the booster is "ugly". You won't recoup the cost in a higher sale price.

Thanks Joe, always appreciate your direct to the point communications. I am just a little weird about things like horns that don't sound right for the car, every light that the car came with must work, original radios and at least 1/2 way decent looking boosters; hence "I need a couch" moniker. Even if I see no great return. All the cars I have owned have always left in better shape than when I acquired them. This 69 will be no exception. Maybe someone on this site will want her.
i sent it off Power Brake Exchange in San Jose CA.
I will let my fellow Olds enthusiasts know how it turns out.
Thanks again for all the input.
