Door hinge roller

How does the pin come off for the detent roller? The roller is off already because it was worn out. Now with new bushing in roller, it does not go over head of pin. Does the pin come out somehow? My manuals don't show hinges. Thanks Brian

Not sure how close the '69 hinge is to the 72, but if they look alike, then the procedure would be the same.

You may have to grind off the retaining tabs off the bottom of the pin. A dremel tool works best.
This might help you...
