Chrome trim/molding removal
Wondering about the proper way to remove this. Car is a 72' Cutlass Supreme with a vinyl top. I got the two on the sides of the windsheild off but bent one in the process. Figured id ask before potentially messing up any more trim. Also the corner pieces?

windsheild trim? or exterior molding?
I saw a guy using a plastic bottle opener for his drip rails, and there is a flat tool with little hooks on either side that unhook other trim pieces.
Here is a link to what it looks like

Slide it under your trim until you reach a clip. get the hook behind the clip and work it gently until you get it to release your trim. You can pick that tool up at any parts store.
Hope this helps

Thanks. Sorry for the late reply, yes that helps a lot. The original post was in regaurd to the windsheild trim although exterior molding will be coming off too, so you saved me an extra post haha. I already bent one of the chrome window strips, the other has a small dent in it, i might be able to get it out but its looking like im going to be in for all new trim window trim :/
At least i can be more careful with the drip rails haha. Thanks again
