Trunk Lid Support Interchange

Does anyone know how close the support structure of the different trunk lid types (convertible, coupe, supreme) are? I've got a coupe trunk lid with some bad rust of the support layer (as opposed to the outer skin) down around the bottom. It's been difficult locating a suitable coupe replacement, but there's a few supreme and convertible ones nearby. I'm wondering how different that portion of the lid is, and if it might be worthwhile to patch that area with that section from a different model. I know the overall shape of the lids are different, but I'm only concerned with the bottom 6" or so, before the curve of it.
