Drip rail removal (not the trim)

How do you remove the actual drip rail? I need to get it out of the way in order to patch my a-pillar. It isn't absolutely necessary, but would keep the cutting to a minimum. There are 3 screws that appear to hold it on, but the darn thing won't budge. Am I missing something?
