Window trim installation for 68 Cutlass
Morning everyone,
I need to install the trim around my rear windows and I can’t for the life of Me figure out how the hell to get this on, any help would be greatly appreciated! Also what size fasteners should I be using? I had one disappear when I was getting a new roof put on a while back. Thanks!

The trim is held on with metal clips that are attached to metal pegs welded to the channel area. Once the plastic clips are attached to the pegs, the trim is snapped onto the flanged areas of the clips. It's pressure fitted. I'd start with the 2 bottom sections and then do the 2 uppers. Slide the lower sections together first and then press them into place. Repeat process with upper sections.

Sorry I should have specified, it’s the trim around the rear windows, not the windshield. I have the plastic clips but i can’t figure out how to get the Lil bastard on. I need the metal fasteners also, one got hacked off.

Those are for the rear window trim.
plastic clips have a larger hole at the end of a groove. The pin goes through the hole and the entire clip is slid toward the end of that groove. Friction fit
