My Cutlass has lost it's sail
1985 3rd owner thought that it was a good idea to install a 1970-1971 spoiler onto a 1970 W-31.
2013 I buy the car from the 4th owner & hate the spoiler.
5 years later I finally got around to deleting it. I had a W-35 ready to go on but decided no spoiler as prebuild sheet ..... for now.
The bright work still needs to go back on the car after my paint guy touches up some chips & road rash and treats the car to a professional paint & polish. I chose to keep the original dealer tag on the trunk lid. The car has never been more than 200 mi from the original selling dealership & it lives 25 miles from it now. I consider the badge part of the heritage. Down the road this car will likely get a total re-do & I will have to re-evaluate at that time.
I have not seen the car in person yet but I think it came out good. It's just a driver with patina but it is rust free, numbers matching & a nice driving hot rod.

Nice touch up. I remember GSL Chev City from a loooong time ago. So this car has never left Calgary?? I find that hard to believe but it looks fantastic. I'm guessing the W35 spoiler was not OEM as there were only 2 holes instead of 3? It will look much nicer with the bright work re installed.
How's the interior on this car?

The spoiler was a 1971-1972 GTO spoiler not a W-35 spoiler as I stated above and as is pictured above.
The car spent 1976-2013 in Medicine Hat - 200 miles from where it sold - as stated above.
There is a rip in the seam on the driver seat cover and the interior shows the usual wear and tear. It's a driver.

I love the green and gold car looks great I think if it were mine w or w out the w35 it looks nice...the GTO spoiler not so much

What RetroRanger said No worries. I think it looks better without a wing anyway. They were never functional especially at the speeds these cars normally travel.
The interior still looks pretty darn nice. I'm sure you could get that driver seat fixed or cover replaced without much problem.
