I was shocked at the price for a new fiberglass tooth for a 69 hood (80+ dollars). So, with the pot metal original tooth deemed unrepairable, My brother and I decided a new piece was in order. This is what we came up with. It fits the new fiberglass hood quite well, and was well worth an evening in the shop vs. buying a new one. The biggest hurdle will be drilling all those emblem mounting holes properly.
