69 toronado

I haven't heard of any. I don't think there's enough demand for them to repop stuff that's Toronado only. I do have a bare 1967 Toro frame if the parts you need would interchange. If so I would be willing to cut and ship the portions you need. I've also got one 1968 and one 1969 parts cars, but it would take a while before I'd have time to strip one down to the frame.

thanks for the replies im currently looking at the 69 toronado but with the shape its in im probably going to pass on it......shame it only had 34000 original miles they just let it set too long. I get to the newbie site next

One more thing. Since its a 1969 check the transmission tag. If its code is OM then it has the W34 option. Not worth the money the W31 & W30 go for, but would make it more desirable and worth putting more time/money into restoring. Here's a link to a thread with pictures of what and where to look for this code.

69 toronado
the guy wants 1000 for it the interior is spotless but the floor was so rotted the front seat flipped backwards.Tthe floors trunk and doors dont bother me but the frame rails and spring shackles might be more than i want to handle. ill make another appointment to look at it and see if the trans has the om on it. It may be worth buying then just searching for a donor body

Toronados are nice cars. They don't bring the money the Cutlass/442 does, but if you have the desire to restore one they make really nice drivers. If you have the time/space/funding you could likely get a good frame or rolling shell with little or no rust from the Western states. John
