Body cowl side firewall

In the attached picture I am wondering if a new body cowl will fix this entire rust issue on the side? I already know that the floor needs to be replaced, but don't know if a new body cowl will fix the entire bottom piece or if I need to fabricate as well.

If your good at welding I'd consider replacing just the bottom of the cowl, if the windshield base on the dash doesn't need replaced. There's several of us on the site who have spare parts. I would encourage you to create a parts wanted thread. If you would post the year/model of car your working on, plus your location or nearest big city that would help. John

And location? I've probably got the parts you need, but I'm in Oregon. If your on the East Coast there's several members here who are closer than me.

Not as big a deal for small parts. But if you want a larger piece of the panel it could make a difference in total costs due to shipping.

OK, I'd encourage you to create the parts wanted thread. I know there's a couple members in the mid-west and a couple more on the East coast who have lots of parts. I'm sure one of these guys can cut off the area you need from one of their parts cars.

cut behind the lower jamb/rocker seam and inside the front body mount

That looks really bad...how is the frame and the rest of the car?

May be cheaper to find a better car.
