72 442 rear bumper

I dented my 72's original rear bumper with cutouts today. Any suggestions?

I need to turn it around pretty quickly - 3 weeks for a show.

I live in NJ

TAMRAZ sells a very nice quality cutout bumper for 71/72. Same thickness as OEM from what I can tell (weighs about the same anyway) Triple chrome plated. Fit is excellent. I bought one and am impressed. Shipping was quick and the bumper was well wrapped.

There's a thread on here somewhere of other's who've bought the Tamraz bumper and they all have good things to say. One guy wrote that he'd had his for over 5 years on a daily driver and no rust yet.

Well, I need the car "right" for a show so I ordered a repro bumper from Tamaraz. Maybe I'll still get the original one fixed and rechromed. It's not a bad dent, just not perfect!

Oh how this DISEASE has taken hold!

Stan, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Getting the old one fixed is ALWAYS an option with these old cars - you know that. What I heard you saying though is "I need something really nice = RIGHT NOW".

Good luck at your show BTW!
