Spacing the body up
Is it a bad thing to space the body up a 1/4" to solve some clearence issues on the Cutlass?
The chassis was badly bent from transporting it to Australia.
I had the chassis straightend boxed and lazer checked and it's near perfect, 455ci and T56 angle is on the mark at 3 degrees but I just need a bit more room in a few places.

if that is the only issue my first question would be how much space is there. it looks like almost 1/2". if so then that should be enough clearance. I have had cars where we cut the body crossmember and welded in a notch to make clearance. I would think that would be easier than raising the body.
