Reproduction Grill Question
Hello all,
Hoping everyone had a Merry Christmas and that the New Year treats everyone well!!
I want to purchase new grills for my 1971 442 and the only NOS grill I have been able to find is for the driver's side only. I am wondering if anyone has experience with any of the reproduction grills available. I saw that Fusick and The Parts Place sells these. The questions I have are as follows:
- How well do the repros fit?
- Are they the correct paint and casting?
- Are the grills that Fusick and The Parts Place sell made by the same
manufacturer or different.
- If different which is better?
- If I bought an NOS driver's side and repro passenger side, will they match or
could you tell the difference?
If anyone would have a set of NOS grills for my car I would be interested.

NOS 1971/1972 442 Grills will fit much nicer than the repro. Fusick makes all the grills so no reason to go to the other suppliers. They will only mark them up and order them from Fusick. I was able to make the repro work with some minor modification but that was 10 years ago.
