I am going to replace some weatherstrip in my 66.Specifically the trunk,doors and hinge pillar. The weatherstrip is from Steele Rubber Products which seemed to be the most favored for their quality.

Good instructions came with the trunk strip and are clear especially how the strip should face outward. The instructions for the doors look simple based on one of their videos. I saw a video on Steele about the install. I have nothing on the hinge pillar.

I have several questions. Do I or don't I use adhesive on the door strips and trunk as there seems to be some different ideas. How do I remove the old hinge pillar strips and install the new hinge pillar strips. I have both the Olds and Fisher Body Service manual and its not clear on how to handle these issues.

I am looking for suggestions from CO forum members with experience.
