I am removing the vinyl top from my 70 442. Is there a trim piece that should be under the drip rail that goes on the spot where the trim around the vinyl top was? I've been looking at photos and don't see any, but I want to be sure before I weld the holes up. Thanks

Hey John,

Thanks for the link. What I'm trying to figure is on a non vinyl top car is there a trim piece that curls under the window to replace the "v" shaped piece I took off. I'm almost positive there isn't I just wasn't 100% sure

In 1968 & 69 there was a trim piece there that ran to the front of the fenders. But not in 1970. John
