Removing hood trim 68 442

I have everything removed except the full chrome piece at the top of the hood at the windshield, any tips? Seems very tight.

It is pretty tight - just held on by friction. I used a piece of hard wood shaped like a paint stirring stick and tapped on the underside of the stainless strip across the underside. Just worked across and back until it finally released from the hood.

You will have to be a bit more physical with it when you put it back on...again, I used a piece of wood to help it back onto the metal lip and it worked fine without marring or otherwise damaging the stainless.
