I need a pair of bumpers for my 72 442. I am looking for a high quality new bumper with great chrome. Does anyone have any good sources? Tamraz's said their triple chrome is for a good daily driver. Does anyone have any good experience or recommend a vendor short of buying a good reproduction and sending it out to be re-chromed?

If you go the rechrome route you should look for good originals as a core.

Agreed. The aftermarket bumpers I have seen are not as thick as the originals. Probably doesn't really matter all that much, but thicker is better, right?
