how to separate the trans from engine?

how to separate the trans from engine?

i bought an engine n trans as an attached unit. I removed 6 bolts, theres a gap but i cant fully pull them apart, any suggestions? what am i missing!

Did you unbolt the torque converter?

take off the dust cover at the underside where the engine mates to the transmission. There three bolts the connect the torque convertor to the flexplate. Rotate the engine using a large breaker bar and socket on the crank bolt at the front of the engine to access all three bolts then you can separate the engine from the transmission

few friends of mine came over w an engine stand, after lifting n tugging around, it came loose.
