Headers

I am getting ready in the next few days to drop in my 455 in my 65 Cutlass and was wondering if it was possible to install the engine the the headers installed or do I have to install them in the vehicle. Car was originally 330 car if that matters. Thanks

Lay the headers in there then install the engine. That works best most of the time.

Video tape your install so I can decide if its worth the hassle on my 65.

I found it easier on mine to install the engine first and then the headers (hedman) underneath, the only hassle was that i had to take out the oil filter adapter but that was only 5min ,overall it took me 45min or so.
