Bearing recomendations
I'm finnaly ready to order bearings for my 455 build, so I can mock up the crank and check clearances... and get moving on this thing.
Anyway, in summit i only see two main bearing options...
Sealed Power - SLP-4294M20 - $72.99
Clevite - CLE-MS804P20 - $66.99
Anyone have anything good / bad to say about one of these? am i leaving any options out?
What about rod bearings, any recomendations?
My crank is freshly ground 20/20, and has been bagged and stored. After I check clearances, I plan to have the final "extra" recommended clearances polished/ground in if necessary.
Thanks-
Ben

If they won't "polish" in are you going to have it ground again? Excessive polishing makes the journal out of round and concave in the middle. Fact
You couldn't be doing it any worse way, fact.
Good luck.

Although i do wish now i had not been in such a hurry when i initially sent the crank off for work in december before i had done my research.
