Holley carb trouble
Fired up a buddies car that had sat for 5 years. We added fresh fuel, soem sta-bil, primed the carb and finally got it running. After about 30 seconds, fuel started pouring out of the bowl vents
Fuel is blowing out of the Bowl Vent (one located closest to the driver) Any way to repair this?

Just had the same problem with a '76 Lincoln w/a 460 - replaced the needle and seat and solved the problem.
Worst thing was the old gaskets stuck badly, and the crossover tube o rings fell apart!
Unless you've someone to rebuild it, you're better off replacing it - not a big difference in money, and much quicker, by the time you're done.

After looking at the picture - if your lucky enough to see a colored gasket between the bowl and jet plate, those are non-stick gaskets and can be re-used!
Pull-off the bowls and squirt the needles and seats with carb cleaner until they're free - blow them out with air, and re-assemble.
Do them one at a time, and wear eye protection, too.
