quadrajet

Hi, I need to get my Rochester quadrajet rebuilt and can't seem to find a reputable shop in Las Vegas. I've heard a little about this Barker Gang Garage in Denver. Just wonder if anyone has feedback on them. Thanks Ken

Dave (oregontopcat) knows a shop here in Southern Oregon that does good work. Or check out the thread below for other references. I don't know anything about the shop you mentioned. John

Quadrajet carbs are the easiest carbs in the world to work on and rebuild.

Do yourself a favor and buy a rebuild kit and do it yourself.

X2 on this
Criag Woodruff lives about 10 min. from me, he's rebuilt about 6 carbs for me, (3 holley's and 3 Q-jets) he only charges about 120 bucks I belive(been a few years) chages all the diaphams and mills them if warped. He got a 350 chevy in the shop on a stand that he runs just for testing carbs. I would Higly recommend him, especially for the Q-jet !

Yes, Q-jets are easy, unless the throttle shafts are worn out and need to be re-bushed!
[very common!]
