optional oil return path ?

optional oil return path ?
I need help pls (as per usual !
)
As can be seen from the pics , I have enlarged and chamfered the standard oil drain back holes and given the valley a wee polish . The enlargement is the same in the heads.
However, (scary word that) I read where a chap drilled into the heads , attached 1/4 " npt fittings and tee` d into back of the block. On one of the pics I have attached tape with black spots depicting where I propose to drill and tap. The block hole -to-be is roughly 3/4 " below the other 2 head holes -to-be. Does this look as though it may work,help ?? Assuming it is advantageous,other than the dizzie what else may get in the way of the external oil lines ??

If you look in your third pick of the valley, where you have the four arrows in the corners by the return holes from the heads you can remove this area making a channel for the oil to go through not just a hole to bottleneck it.

yes heard of this --just not certain the glyptal or any paint won`t flake and find itself touring the engine --food for thought anyway
