1965 F85, 330 to 455 Engine SWAP
Well this weekend I am going to have a 4 day weekend due to some teacher institute days and hopefully this 455 is gonna get dropped in. I bought this motor off some farmer in Indiana who found the motor sitting in a field for a whole 400 bucks, transmission included. When we went to go pick it up I saw those C heads and took that thing right up. Brought it home and as I dug deeper into it I did some measurements and saw that it was already 40 over, jack pot! Now its about 5 months later and about 60 degrees colder and this motor is getting closer to completion. Now what I am looking to learn is that, is there any tricks or tips I should do when putting this thing together? I already have about 2 and a half thousandths clearance on the mains and about same on the rods so my clearances are good, as J-Chicago told me about. Now what about some tricks to make sure this thing ain't gonna leak or anything like that.
Also can anyone tell me what kinda compression I'm gonna be running here? I remember hearing something about you can tell by the dish of the pistons like 30 or 40cc's or something like that someone please correct me on that one.
Thanks in advance!

Oh and, I had to go with orange...

I recommend .0025-.0029 on the rods, and .0030-.0035 on the mains.
You can CC your piston dish with an old CD case. Cut a circle out of the front cd cover a little bit smaller than the bore. Then drill some holes in the center of it to let water in and let air out. Smear some wheel bearing grease around the outside of the dish and stick the plastic cover on. Use an eye dropper or the like to fill the dish with water. Milliliters and CC's are the same thing. From here, those look like 30 cc pistons.

.0020-.0025 on the mains isn't enough clearance in my opinion, especially on 2 and 4
You might want to get your crank machined down a little.
