performer 2151 intake and OEM Q-Jet | Throttle bracket question

Need some advice and direction.

I have the Edelbrock performer #2151 intake, and I have a OEM 4 Barrel Q-Jet for 1971. Im in process of building my first 455 (been working with CutlassEFI - Mark). I have not purchased my heads yet so while I work on saving the dough for them I was organizing my parts for the intake and carb and noticed that the factory throttle cable bracket, the carb bolt holes do not line up with those on the intake...so I can only assume I need an adapter plate ?? What else am I missing to properly mate up the Q-jet to the 2151 ?

** I will also will be ruing the OAI hood and setup so I do know I will need a drop base air cleaner, but haven't gotten that far yet - right now I want to make sure I have everything for finishing my build

The 2151 should have two sets of bolt holes for the Q-Jet and aftermarket carbs. All you should need is a gasket and to bolt it down.

Use the inner bolt holes.
