Until someone can give you some Olds specific numbers here is what Hastings has to say about it....

What engine size and what will it be used for?
What pistons are you using? New or Used?
Did you measure the ring grooves for ring thickness, clearance, and for Radial thickness?
Race, street, cruising?
Are you having the block honed professionally with a torque plate or doing a Ball-hone?
The main idea is to make sure the second ring has at least .002+ wider gap than the top ring.
Also, are both top and second rings cast, or do you have a ductile iron top ring and a cast second ring.

.0045 per inch on the top ring and .0055 per inch of bore on the second for your application. In addition, make sure you have at least .015 on the oil rails. Ring material is irrelevant.
