Will a 1969 442 400/ 4 speed bolt into 1970 with a 455/3 speed?
Hello,
I am new to the forum...thank you for having me!
I have a 1970 442. The original 455 and 3 speed manual were long gone before I bought it.
I have the opportunity to buy an original 400 and 4 speed manual out of 1969 442.
Will they bolt right up without (much) modification?
Thanks again, Don

Thank you for the feedback and advice. I am pleased to know that it will bolt in. I am looking for a 1970 455 out of a 442 but have not found one as of yet.
And correct it did have the Deaborn toploader 3 speed manual. As well it is a bench seat post car that is Sherwood green with black interior. It needs quite a bit of work but solid.
Again thank you for all the advice!
