I have the Problem and need help please. The Valve have to much play ( Room ) and will the New Valveguide install. I look to the inside the Head's and see nothing come the Valveguide out, or better, i see no Position this out to push ???

My Question is, how fixed her the Valveguide from this Head's ??? Or what is the best Way this Easy to fixed ?

Sorry for my Bad English

Find a machine shop to install K-liners to them. Any machine shop sure knows what they are when you mention them. Makes them like new, and no need to remove guides.

Welcome. To clarify a little, the stock Olds heads do not have separate valve guides. The stock "guides" were just machined into the cast iron heads. As Inline notes, any competent machine shop can bore out the heads and install aftermarket bronze guides.

Here those liners run from about 18 to 20 euros per installed, and quessing you have somewhat comparable prices at Deutschland, you can wait for about 300€ bill for all 16 guides re-lined.

Just call some machine-shop and explain the situation, theyll get the correct liners for you when you give them the heads. Im sure there are more than one shop specialised on old cars on Deutschland, they might even have them at hand. And its not anyways long wait if they order them, theyre normal stuff for machineries. Cant help about your local machineries, but with a bit of googling you find them for sure.

Hello Guy's

So two machineries doing that for me, price is the same. 450 Euro's ( 500 Dollar ) for two heads and extra the K-liners.
