difference between 455 396021f and Fa

difference between 455 396021f and Fa

i have these two blocks in mondello's reference manual the f block says stud boss the Fa block says no clutch ball i dont see a difference between them as far where the clutch linkage is concerned as its going in a stick shift car. any thoughts on this

Some fa blocks have the threaded hole for the ball stud, some do not. There is a boss there tho even if it doesn't have the threaded hole. There is a thread on here w some pics,
