Rocker arm studs

I bought some comp rocker arms and guide plates from a forum a member, no rocker arm studs purchased nor suggested. Box from Comp says I need studs which are not available by themselves from Comp nor ARP. This is ******* awesome. Wasn't given any instructions on valve height. Rocker arm installed with factory bolts an Comp pivots is hitting the edge of the valve spring. I am sick of having to order more **** all the time. Can I just run my factory pushrods and rocker arms with my Engle 22/25 cam?

If you check the thread spec for the head and nut, I believe it is a common stud used by Ford small blocks and other mfg's. Maybe someone else can verify 7/16-14 for the base, 3/8-24 for the nut. Maybe ARP can cross reference for you.

What part number did you purchase ? You probably need the Comp 4542-16 studs.

Depends on which rockers he has. The better Comp rockers need a 7/16 stud. Those studs will not work for them.
