Adequate Radiator for a mild BB / 71
I´m in search for a new Radiator in BB in a 71 Cutlass for HOT SUMMER Days.
The car has stock a 350 with a 2 Row. without shroud but Flex Fan.
What do guys think:
http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/o...,radiator,2172
think is a good idea to install shroud

I'm not a fan of radiators with plastic end tanks. The Spectra 351 is a drop in for your car. Personally I'd pick a four row to ensure no problems in the future but then you'd need to change the bottom brackets and top plate to fit the wider end tanks. Use a stock shroud.

The The Spectra 351 seems to be 2 row which is now in the car.

Sorry, I thought it was a three row. Three is the minimum I'd go with.
Yes, and yes, they are spot welded to the core support. You can also do the half-fast "hammer them flat" to make the old ones work, but it looks like crap if you care. Of course, you also need the top plate or at least the brackets for the top plate. This assumes you want to run a four row core.
